Satin and Tat
Satin and Tat is a sculptural project made from re-purposed textiles and mixed media. The show will transport you to a world of cabaret: think hot sultry nights, the humming of insects, bright neon lights and drag beauty! Queens like moths are drawn to the flame. It is inspired by her love of drag queens and involvement within the Thanet-based radical cabaret group Screaming Alley. It explores Janice’s love of textile art, and more recently in making puppets and art dolls.
